I was a motherhood blogger when blogging was cool but when instagram and tiktok took over I along with so many others ditched the blogging and switched to “influencing” Up until late May of 2026 when living a life surrounded by social media, sharing so much of your life seconds after living it, the expectation to post every day, where your value was based on the view count on your last reel no longer satisfied me as a creator. Not to mention the creativity? gone. As I was scrolling one day I realized I was watching the same thing. same ideas, same style and same wording. But at the same time with these devices being on my phone it was hard to get away from.
Until I realized one day that social media was one of the last things that was stealing from my motherhood, it’s most precious thing, time.
Coming to this realization I had no issue being done with social media, but the call to share my story still left me wondering how I could have the best of both worlds.
Then I remembered a life back in 2012 when most of us mamas weren’t connected to our phones but instead would grab our laptops and without a need for anything but connection to other mamas, we would write our story.
I wanted to go back to that, so I did.
While not seeking to be what social media would call a “Influencer” But with the hopes to encourage the mama like me, searching for words that will help keep her going, to encourage, to equip, and to help her feel seen. If I am only reaching one mama, up in the middle of the night not knowing what tomorrow will look like.
Every investment made in this space whether it be time or money will be well worth it.
And if that’s you reading now, welcome mama! I’m so glad you are here.
A little about me
I’m firstly a daughter, lover and follower of Jesus. Mama to five beautiful girls, Girlfriend to my sweet Dylan and passionate about Romanizing my life right down to my morning coffee.
Cultivating intention, peace and love in my home is important to me as I’ve spent most of my life living in survival and having so much time and moments stolen from me in my life.
I pray that every time you stumble upon this space on the internet that you are encouraged to live life a little slower, to give yourself the grace you need while you’re healing, to show up for the life you were called to live and to love the people that you were called to well.
And on the days where you feel to overwhelmed by everything in front of you I hope this space reminds you
One day at a time, mama.
